The 2026 Highland Ridge Open Range Roamer Light Duty 24MLDS is a compact yet highly capable fifth wheel engineered for comfort, two-season usability, and lighter towing. With an unloaded (dry) weight of ~7,975 lbs, and a GVWR of 9,500 lbs, it provides a cargo carrying capacity of about 1,525 lbs. The hitch weight is approximately 1,495 lbs, making it towable by larger ½-ton trucks.

Measuring 29′3″ overall, 8′1″ wide, and around 12′3″ tall (exterior), it includes two slide-outs which expand the width to 11′0″ when deployed. The interior ceiling height is spacious at about 8′5″, helping to open up the living area.

Water capacities are strong: 52 gallons fresh, 82 gallons gray, 45 gallons black. A 35,000 BTU furnace and a whisper-quiet 15,000 BTU A/C unit help keep both hot and cold weather comfortable.

This model sleeps up to 6 people, has three external storage compartments, and features a tankless water heater for endless hot water. Standard build includes heat or weather protection (Thermal Seal™ zero-degree tested), insulated underbelly, TuffShell™ construction, and features to support off-grid or seasonal travel.
